Terri L. Orbuch

Dr. Orbuch is a Social Psychologist, who has published several books and articles on marriage and divorce, parent-child relationshops, accounts and account-making, and the effects of divorce on children. She is also a Professor of Sociology at Oakland University and Project Director of a long-term studyon marriage and divorce among White Americans and African Americans (1986-present). The study is titled The Early Years of Marriage Project and is funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

Dr. Orbuch recently published her fifth book with Diane Holmberg and Joseph Veroff titled "Thrice Told Tales: Married Couples Tell Their Stories." She conducts Relationship Enrichment Workshops across the country and is known as "The Love Doctor" on Fox TV-Detroit and radio stationsacross the U.S. and Canada.
