Heather’s research focuses on how social relations affect development throughout the lifespan with specific emphases on social support and psychological wellbeing, intergenerational relations, cross-cultural differences, and successful aging. In addition, she is particularly interested in how immigration, transnationalism, and acculturation impact development and wellbeing for Latinos in the US and their families. She recently received a Fulbright award and is performing research in Mexico. |
