RCGD News Notes

Dorwin (Doc) Cartwright, the first director of Michigan’s RCGD, passed away on July 18 after a long illness. We will all miss him and never forget his outstanding contributions to RCGD and ISR. Doc is survived by his wife Barbara of Santa Barbara, California. To honor him and commemorate his contributions, RCGD will be holding a memorial event for him. We will announce the details soon.

Not only do we remember “Doc” as one of the founders of the field of group dynamics, but also as a brilliant colleague and great friend to RCGD. His obituary appeared in the July 28, 2008 issue of the UM Record.
