David Weir testified October 28 at a Congressional hearing on NFL player health, following release of an ISR study on the health of retired NFL players. The hearing was covered by a wide range of news media, including the New York Times. Read the full ISR report.
A study by ISR researchers Jose Tapia Granados and Anna Diez-Roux, covered in the Toronto Globe and Mail and many other media around the world, finds that economic downturns can be good for your health.
Just one in 10 consumers surveyed in mid-November said their household income had risen in the last 12 months, according to Richard Curtin, Director of the U-M/Reuters Surveys of Consumers. Curtin, quoted in the Los Angeles Times and other media, said that was the lowest reading in the survey's 63-year history.
