Lori Maddix is the Assistant Director. She has worked at U-M since 1993. Lori received her Master of Public Administration (M.P.A) from Eastern Michigan University. She is the supervisor of the administrative team and is responsible for the administrative operations of the Center, including HR, financials, facilities, etc.
Prior to joining the Center for Political Studies, she served as the Business Manager for the Schools of Natural Resources and Environment & Ford School of Public Policy. She has worked for a variety of U-M units, starting with ORSP in 1993 and the Centers for Japanese Studies & the Study of Complex Systems.
In her spare time, Lori walks her dog, Xavi in the neighborhood, knits, and reads the latest book club selection. She lives with her family in Ann Arbor.
